A Grand Showcase of Art and Elegance at CIMB Artober Art & Soul 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 October 2024 — In a celebration of timeless elegance and artistic expression, Emperor Palace, Malaysia’s leading name in luxury classical furniture, partnered with creative art collective KolmeGlu for the highly anticipated CIMB Artober Art & Soul 2024.

Held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 25 to 27 October, the showcase brought together the worlds of fine art and classical design, creating an immersive experience that bridged heritage and modernity.

At the heart of the exhibition stood Emperor Palace’s most exquisite masterpieces — a tribute to European classical heritage and refined craftsmanship. The highlight of the display was the “Catherine” Sofa Set and “Morris” TV Cabinet from the new Majestic Collection, inspired by the grandeur of the Louis XVI era. Cloaked in a regal cream-and-gold palette and adorned with marble accents, each piece reflected sophistication in its purest form.

Another centrepiece that captivated visitors was the “Royal Cleopatra” Chaise Lounge from the Heritage Collection, upholstered in deep royal red fabric embroidered with delicate florals. Its frame, finished in hand-applied gold leaf, embodied imperial luxury at its finest. Complementing the setting was the “Frederick” Cabinet, a Rococo-inspired design finished in forest green and patina gold, and the “Lanterne” Marble Floor Lamp, crafted from alabaster to cast a soft, radiant glow across the gallery.

The collaboration between Emperor Palace and KolmeGlu was more than an exhibition — it was a dialogue between eras, mediums, and emotions. Together, they reimagined how classical furniture and contemporary art could coexist, illuminating each other’s stories in perfect harmony.

Visitors were also treated to a stellar lineup of artworks by both local and international visionaries, including Amron OmarBremen Wong MillineryChao Harn KaeDanial KushairiFaez FahmiGabriel CheahHui Qin ChuaJake Lee and J.
