KUALA LUMPUR, 23 August 2025 — In a heartfelt celebration of strength, healing, and solidarity, Emperor Palace was honoured to be part of Nota PERCAYA: Breaking The Silence Gently, an intimate charity event dedicated to supporting women’s mental and emotional wellbeing.
One of the evening’s most unforgettable moments came as Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah took the stage to mark her 99th birthday in a heartfelt celebration of her enduring legacy. Seated gracefully on our Edward armchair↗, with its regal Louis XVI design, she held her violin and performed with a spirit that was both tender and powerful. It was more than a performance—it was a reflection of her lifelong devotion to the arts, her resilience, and her unwavering spirit.
For us at Emperor Palace, the moment carried a deeper meaning. The armchair was not just a piece of furniture, but a quiet companion to a legendary woman whose influence spans generations. To see our armchair stand with Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah during such a milestone was a privilege, and a reminder of how elegance can support purpose.
The evening was filled with music and inspiration, with performances by Fauziah Latiff, Datuk Yusni Hamid, Bella Astillah, and Lah Ahmad. Beyond the melodies, the event honoured women’s journeys of healing and the strength found in art, community, and shared stories.
