Our beautiful classical dining set is named after one of the central figures of Romanticism, Edgar Allan Poe. Poetry and the pen ran in his family; Edgar’s older brother, William Henry Leonard Poe, was also a poet, and his younger sister, Rosalie Poe, was a penmanship teacher. Edgar Allan Poe is best remembered for his melancholic and haunting poems, and he was also brilliant in writing short stories. He was no doubt a literary genius. With his works hailed as masterpieces by most, it is no wonder that he secured a prominent place among universally known men of letters.
