KUALA LUMPUR – As part of its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, Emperor Palace is proud to announce a donation of furnishings and equipment worth over RM10,000 to SMK Pendidikan Khas Setapak, a specialised secondary school dedicated to visually impaired students.
Enhancing the School's Heritage Gallery
The contribution focuses on upgrading the school’s Gallery Room—a space vital for preserving the 50-year history of the institution.
The first donation is the AMORI Sofa Set: Featuring a 1+1+2+3 seating arrangement, accompanied by coffee and side tables to ensure comfort for guests.
The second donation is a Samsung 43-inch television: Equipped with specialized accessibility features, including audio guidance and voice commands tailored for visually impaired students.
Now fully furnished, the Gallery Room will serve a dual purpose: educating visitors and students about the school’s rich legacy, and acting as a central venue for hosting VIPs, government officials, and distinguished guests for meaningful discussions.

Puan Rhabtah, the school’s principal, expressed her gratitude for the contribution, which reconnects Jet Chew with his former teacher from Victoria Institution, Encik Iran Shah, who now serves as a history teacher at SMK Pendidikan Khas Setapak.
The handover ceremony, held on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, marked a significant step in the company’s commitment to community support and inclusive education environments.
